Simplifies operations by enabling remote electrical tilting of antennas and setting of TMA gain via Web or SNMP interfaces The Powerwave MCU controls, supervises and provides DC power to the Remote Electrical Tilt (RET) System via a common bus. Electrical tilting of antennas and setting of Tower Mounted Amplifier gain can be performed from a remote location such as the Network Operating Center (NOC) using web or SNMP interface. Local management at the base station is also possible by connecting a computer directly to the MCU. |

| The MCU can be accessed from the Network Operating Center via site LAN, Web, text terminal or Telnet client. At the NOC, the MCU is seen as a web server or an SNMP agent depending on which management application you use and is fully compatible with the generic Powerwave network management platform NetWay ManagerT (NWM) for advanced network management with features such as fleet software download. |
